Run a short design critique with a written prompt

Use a focused exercise to move from inspiration toward an actionable review.

Set the task

Choose one screen and explain its intended user and task. Give reviewers a few minutes to inspect it without a presentation. Use a quote only if it introduces a relevant principle; do not spend the session collecting unrelated sayings.

Ask three questions

What is the main action? What information is needed before taking it? What could go wrong? Write the answers on the Figma page next to the screen. Distinguish observations from suggestions so the designer can understand the reason for each change.

Close with a testable change

Choose one change and describe its expected effect. For example, changing a vague action label should make the next step clearer. Plan how you will evaluate that effect through a review or user test rather than treating agreement in the room as proof.
